Browsholme Hall & The Tithe Barn

As Lancashire wedding photographers, we are always happy with beautiful venues with a plethora of space for amazing photography.

Browsholme Hall and the Tithe Barn didn’t disappoint and I’m sure the Bride and Groom enjoyed the venue as much as we did. Our wedding photography would be easy if every venue was presented as well.

The interior rooms were perfect and allowed everyone to relax and prepare in comfort. The Bride and Bridesmaids were in a lovely room for bridal preparation and this adjoined a gorgeous cottage where we took photographs of the wedding dress and each bridesmaids dress.

The ceremony room was superb. Ambient lighting created a romantic mood and the wedding cake at the front created a great finish to some fantastic room shots. This room also provided plenty of space for the band who played the wedding songs so beautifully for the couple.

The wedding breakfast and reception was also held here and was a room which could be used all day.

We used the sitting room to photograph some details such as the wedding

invitation, the wedding rings, and some bridal keepsakes. Some engagement presents were also used here. Some favors and the brides wedding shoes completed this section of the day for us. This room was very tastefully decorated and was the perfect room for the wedding guests to relax during the day.

The exterior also didn’t disappoint and, to our eye, had been designed specifically for weddings.

Good weather always helps, of course, but the hall provided a fantastic backdrop for the group shots, as did the superb flowing landscape of the

Lancashire hills. The hall is a striking building and this, along with the huge grass lawns, sat really well with our specific editing method. The colours married beautifully.

The gardens adjoining this were simply superb. We took the couple here for the portrait shots and the greenery as well as quite a few features, including the lake, were used. The lake provided us with the opportunity to get some lovely reflection photographs. We really didn’t need to work super hard to compose shots as the entire area was beautiful and really did show off the bride’s wedding dress superbly. They really enjoyed themselves and didn’t feel awkward about their surroundings.

Hopefully, we will be able to shoot here again very soon as we really enjoyed the day.
